Vesa Turkki is one of the founder partners of Garnett Ltd. Mr. Turkki is a legal advisor of several listed and major export trade corporations in Finland with more than ten years of experience, including working as a partner of a law firm from 1996. Mr. Turkki is licensed to practice law in Finland.
Mr. Turkki is fluent in Finnish and English and conversational in Swedish and German. Mr. Turkki is a graduate of the Law School of the University of Turku (Finland) and has previously worked as a visiting lawyer in major international law firms in Belgium and the U.S.A. (New York).
After graduation in 1992, Mr. Turkki joined the law firm of Procopé & Hornborg in Helsinki and was a founder partner of Salvén & Vuorenpää Oy, his previous law firm. Mr. Turkki also acts as a litigator and represents domestic and foreign clients in the Finnish courts on a regular basis. His main areas of practice currently are commercial disputes, international trade law, contracts and mergers and acquisitions. His practice with Turkki Kokko Heliö primarily involves international clients and international legal matters.
Mr. Turkki also serves as a Member or a Secretary of the Boards of Directors of several Finnish companies, mainly in the areas of industrial manufacturing and export trade. He also lectures on international trade law with several training institutions including FINTRA (the Finnish Institute for International Trade).
